THE SAUDI EXCHANGE, MUQASSA AND EDAA ANNOUNCE AN UPDATED EFFECTIVE DATE FOR THE RULES AND PROCEDURES OF POST TRADE PROJECT AND THE AMENDMENTS OF THE GLOSSARY OF DEFINED TERMS USED IN THE EXCHANGE RULES

Further to the announcement of Saudi Exchange, Muqassa & Edaa regarding the approval of the rules and procedures of post trade project and the amendments of the glossary of defined terms used in the exchange rules that was published on January 18, 2022, Saudi Exchange, Muqassa and Edaa announce the CMA’s Board resolution to amend the starting date of the mentioned rules and procedures and amend the cancelling date of the rules and procedures specified in paragraph (second) of the mentioned announcement to be staring from April 3rd 2022 instead of March 6th 2022, to coincide with the launch of a bundle of enhancements to develop the post trade infrastructure of the Saudi capital market..
